Welcome to summer 2022... Let's bring the outdoors in with these simple, but effective ways to incorporate natural elements indoors. If you try one of the ideas on our list, tag us @cindyandcraig so we can see!

There's a reason green is everywhere this summer. Integrate colours from the outside world into your home to bring a touch of nature. Dulux paints called summer 2022 the "return of bold colours," so don't back away from going bright & bold as you choose your nature-inspired paint colours.

Not ready to take the plunge and paint your entire wall in a nature-inspired colour? Try adding some wall art as a baby step. Nature photography, botanical prints, even dried florals look amazing up on the wall and still achieve the "outdoors-in" trend.

Another way to bring the outdoors in is to draw inspiration from nature in the furniture and materials you use around your house. This can include wood, glass, wicker, ceramics, shades of green, cotton/ organic fabrics.

Decor come to life! Perhaps the most obvious way to bring the outdoors in, using plants as decor is not a new trend but is certainly going strong this summer. The perfect addition to any empty table or shelf, try a low-maintenance plant like a succulent or snake plant.
